I'm a practicing ER nurse and an epileptic as well. I'm currently back in school for higher education and I'm studying informatics. This forum is where I learned of your device and its potential. I think that it is an absolute shame that peolpe feel sostrongly against a potentailly life saving device. I also feel completely overwhelmed that persons have actually equated it to "The Mark of the Beast"! I can understand and appreciate the concern and reservation over privacy. But to be able to understand medical history by merely scanning a person's arm in the event of a crisis, that, people means the difference between life and death. I applaude VeriMed in its efforts to assist in electronic medical records.

I would just like to say I suffered with CRPS and SRD for the last 5 years in the extreme, the last 6 months I have been bed ridden. I am a 36yr old Mom of two. I just had my permanent Nevro Senza device fitted on Monday 30 July 2012 in St Vincent's Hospital,Dublin,Ireland under
Dr Declan O'Keeffe and although I have a lot of surgical pain my nerve pain is virtually.
This only day the 5th day after surgery!!
I can't wait to walk and swim and play with my 2 children,3yrs and 5yrs, 3 dogs and my amazing husband.I am hoping it will change our lives for the better.
Kindest regards, Alison

I fine the smallest of these units to fit my body well and they are fantastic to use. I would recommend these for anyone who asks. I have recommended them already to a few people who have asked about them. They have found that I am right. This is a true invention of greatness and very helpful with pain. The greatest part is that you don't have to take as many pain pills as you once did before. This is great in many ways! I want to thank all of you who have had a hand in the invention of the implants. You can recommend people to talk to me for advice with regard to using this implant. I would be happy to do so.Thanks again,Diane L. Pennestri.

Dear Chris,
I hope this will be helpful. We are an Australian company Taylor Ceramic Engineering, based in Sydney, that worked closely with Telectronics in the 80's & 90's.

We R&D'd & manufactured Alumina; Insulating Fixtures for Terminal Welding, Insulator Cassettes, Ceramic Bushes and Measurement Gauges.

We still have the drawings and in some cases the Alumina parts (with titanium components attached). I'm not sure if any of this information would be useful?

If so, please don't hesitate to contact me alyssa@taylorceramicengineering.com

All the best,
Alyssa Taylor

Very cool!

I found your video at: http://youtu.be/jvJ1xHStWmQ

Reminds me of the time when we were testing our "Patient Alert System" at Intermedics. The idea was to use a small electrode in the device's header to cause pectoral muscle twitching when the IPG wanted to call the patient's attention (e.g. low battery, dislodged lead, etc). To test it, we had modified a Relay pacemaker to be single chamber (VVI), and used the atrial channel for the "Patient Alert" electrode. For the test protocol, the device was programmed to issue a number of alert pulses to the patient at some hour set by the nurse but unknown to the patient, and the patient was supposed to call back whenever he/she felt the alert stimuli. We nicknamed it "Rolex" because it was just as expensive as the real thing, but not anywhere as accurate :)

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
